Impression

The 2008 Vinos de Terrunos Siete 7 Navarra is good, honest wine. The nose is not shy, it really does leap from the glass. Any berry you can think of, you are sure to find. The palate is not gloopy like blueberry pie, no it's rather succulent like blueberries in your morning granola. And as the wine works its way through your mouth, it lets you know that it is Wine and not just fruit: spice, earth, leather, game, fresh droppings from a heritage, graphite-fed pig, it's all there. And all for $12...
(Organic garnacha and tempranillo, raised in stainless steel, brought in by hot-shot Spanish importer Jose Pastor.)
