A break from our usual programming

A good friend of mine (aka Ms. Watermelon Radish) is taking part in the Rickshaw Run, along with two other team members. The Rickshaw Run is a race of sorts in which one attempts to cross the Indian subcontinent in a rickshaw. If you've ever travelled in a rickshaw (or a tuk-tuk, as it is affectionately nicknamed), you know that even a journey as short as a few miles can be fraught with peril; voluntarily travelling across the country in a rickshaw is reasonable grounds for insanity. The exact route varies from year to year, and this year's route begins in Goa and ends in Nepal. The race organizers prefer to call this an "un-route," adding:

If we tell you exactly where to go or give you a fixed route, it stops being an adventure and becomes a tour, the sort of thing your grandmother likes to do round Brighton.
Did I mention they're British?

Anyway, you can find out more about this particular team, as well as a link to donate (did I mention the whole thing benefits charity?) here. I encourage you all to check it out.
